Security Seals – What are they and how can they be used?

At Easycrate we supply a lot more than just reusable plastic crates. If you’ve read some of our other news stories, you’ll know that we also supply packing materials and labels. This week we’d like to tell you about our security seals and how you can use them in your office move.
Security seals are basically little plastic tags that can be attached to crates and bags to ensure the contents remain secure during your move. Click here to see what security tags we have available.
The first benefit of using a security tag is that they ensure the security of what you have put in your plastic crates. Once the contents are in your crate, simply seal the integrated lid and attach a security tag. The security tag is very strong so cannot accidentally be removed. This ensures that no one will be able to see the contents of the crate during your office move.
Another benefit of the security tag is that it’s tamper evident. Once in place, the tag cannot be removed unless it is cut off the crate. This means that if your crate has been opened during your move, you will immediately be able to tell as the tag will no longer be in place.
By using a security tag, you are also ensuring the safety of the contents of your crate. This is because the contents are not only secured by the integrated lid of the office crate but also by the tag so nothing can fall out and get lost.
Finally, as our security tags are available in a wide range of colours, they can be used to identify who has tagged the reusable crates too with each staff member being allocated their own colour.
