How Edward Baden works
Investigation
Prior to relocation of your scientific equipment, Edward Baden’s relocation foreman will conduct an interior building’s condition survey together with your company representative, using a digital camera. This identifies any areas of past damage to buildings and key areas of concern will be discussed and itemised in a mutually agreed report.
Building protection
Vulnerable zones such as the lifts, main entrances and exits will be professionally covered or wrapped using our protective packing materials - bubble wrap, hardboards, correx and layers of paper covers.
Specialist equipment & vehicles
To facilitate a smooth and secure move, labels, antistatic bubble bags, security seals, rubber topped skates, and roll cages will be used. Visit our Box Shop for more information.
Edward Baden’s company fleet of vehicles are capable of safely transferring your valuables of any size over any distance.
Plastic crate hire
The robust and sturdy plastic crate hire service provided by our sister company - Easycrate - will keep your scientific instruments safe throughout the relocation. Our crates vary from 635 mm to a metre in length and are easy to lift, stack, move, and (with no assembly) ready for use.
Signing off
On completion the team will check all areas to make sure everything has been securely transported to the new location, and our Supervisor will receive sign-off from the client representative.
